Each end of year, we have the habit to undergo a major cleaning of our house. In this purpose, we always hire some cleaning maids to help us get the job done. This service is not cheap, but it is worth every penny, because our house is so big, that we’d never manage to clean everything before it starts getting dirty again. Only dusting all surfaces, polishing the floors and washing the windows can take ages. Besides, it is rather a boring task, so we tend to outsource it. Those cleaning services come with their own devices such as steam cleaners, powerful vacuum cleaners and professional detergents, which we would never afford to buy.

This year will be special, because we intend to have the carpets cleaned, and this operation will require getting them out of the house, to a special carpet cleaning service. We can very much thank our lovely dogs for that. If I think how much I paid to have those dogs educated, I start thinking that canine education is only a dream. The dogs surely misunderstood the lesson about not taking the carpets as their private bathroom, but what can we do? We love them, so we are going to clean the carpets and hope next year they won’t repeat the process.
