As I like to be comfortable, I choose to wear casual outfits whenever I can. There are many occasions when casual clothes such as tactical pants are an excellent choice. One good example can be hiking in the mountains: as I usually take long trips, I could use pants with lots of pockets, so I can store items that are necessary for me, to have them at hand quickly, without having to search in the depth of my backpack each time. For sunny days, I also make sure I don’t forget my tactical Boonie hat, which is a great match for my pants and which keeps my bald head away from sun rays.

Many people believe that earthquake preparedness can actually save their life in case such a natural disaster happens. While this may contain a nugget of truth, on the other hand, you can be as prepared as possible and still get killed, because in case of an earthquake everything is unpredictable on smaller scale. Even if you are sure your building won’t collapse, there’s always a danger that you are nearby a window that breaks and the shattered glass kills you or injures you badly. So, take preparedness and survival kits with a grain of salt: they are good, there’s no doubt about that, but they are not ubiquitous life savers.

Many people think how nice it would be to buy a car, but they forget one thing: maintenance and fule cost money. It’s not that hard to find money to buy a second hand car, but then you’ll see that you need a full coverage auto insurance, especially if you’re not such a great driver and you get involved into accidents very often.
Premiums for such an insurance can be quite high, and if you add the money for the gas and the spare parts you’ll have to replace every now and then, you may end up with the conclusion that it’s better not to have a car of your own. However, if you have the budget to support all these, a car is agreat help for everybody: only think how would it be to go shopping by bus and come back home with all those bags without a trunk to put them in.
