There’s no secret anymore that my hair is falling. It is falling that fast that I can see it every day on the carpets, in the sink, or even in my food if I’m not careful at lunch time. Today I took a decision: I shaved my head completely, because I am really sick of those hairs spread around me everywhere I go.

Starting of today, I’m as bald as Kojak. Too bad I did not follow a laser hair treatment sooner. I haven’t done that because I’m afraid of doctors, I’m scared to death when I hear the words laser therapy and I cannot see myself going through pains and trouble only to keep my hair on my head. So, it’s bye-bye my lovely, black hair, I’m bald like a light bulb and I feel OK. I’m getting more and more used to my new look, so there’s nothing to worry about. Too bad it’s a bit chilly without hair. I’m gonna need a hat, you know. And no natural haealth remedies are going to save me.

I’ve asked myself so many times how to lose weight, that it became almost a ritual that every six months I start a weight loss program meant to help me fit in my clothes. Some of them are successful, but there were programs which made me even fatter after I finished them. In all this rat race of getting rid of a few or more pounds, I’ve started asking myself why are we doing this to ourselves. Why, instead of enjoying life and feeling good, we should feel miserable and never be content with our body? For instance, last year, during my Royal cruise on the Caribbeans, I was totally unhappy, because I was so fat that I was ashamed to take my clothes off and relax in the deck pool which was just great. I still wonder why I just sat there, on a beach chair, completely dressed and sweating like hell? Well, weight loss is not easy, and I surely saw that I’d rather try to accommodate myself with the idea of being big rather than trying all those diets and feeling frustrated each time I go to the beach.
I’m fat. So what? I simply cannot overcome my food addiction, so I suppose I’m blamed to buy bigger clothes every two years. Taking into consideration that I’m only 40, can you imagine how big my outfits will be in 20 years from now? It is very strange that my addiction for chocolate and cookies actually made me encounter some great people who share my passion. Now we exchange recipes and have fun.

I still remember those days when I was young and I didn’t care too much about health issues. I was working on a Gantry crane, at height, lifting incredibly heavy objects, and I was happy with my job. I never thought how much it affects my nerves, all that responsibility I had of not dropping objects from the hook onto my colleagues heads.

Now I’m old and I wish I wasn’t that worn out. If only I knew that workers have rights, I would have appealed to my bosses to give me my rights. I remember that for three years in a row I didn’t have a vacation. How do you think that affected me? At that time, I thought it didn’t matter. Now I know it did. I had to see the retirement party gifts I received from my friends to realize how old I actually am.

I knew I was getting fat, but I had no clue the problem was that serious, until last night. I’ve been invited to a party, and I wanted to get dressed with a cocktail outfit which I liked very much. It was simply impossible to fit inside, so I guess I need to lose some weight and this needs to happen asap! I knew that allergies can make you fat, but this is a bit too much for me: not being able to wear my clothes. I don’t have money to buy new ones, so I really have to do something to get rid of my big belly.

Many personal development gurus say that sharing your goals with your peers helps for motivation, and can give you the strength to pursue them to the end, because we are just too ashamed to admit that we’ve failed. This is why I’m now sharing my next goal with you: losing 20 pounds in one month.

This is a great day. I loved it since this morning, when I woke up to a brilliant sunny sky, with the cat purring in my ear and looking at me with those sweet, green eyes. I got up, I washed myself, then I had a great breakfast with eggs, cheese, tomatoes ans some salads. Next, I took my glyconutrients food supplements and I want out for a walk. Halloween Costumes are always a great occasion for fun and laughter. I’m a big fan of Halloween, and I’ve always tried to exploit it to the full, by choosing the craziest ideas for my costumes, such as Shrek the third theme costume. This year, we are going to have a great party, the biggest ever, because we are also celebrating our new house. We moved in recently, after ten months of work, with a team of expert builders and workers. However, we supervised everything, from the foundation, to the last tile on the roof and to the iron balusters which look gorgeous. We are proud of our work and we think the new house speaks volumes about our personalities, so we are eager to show it to everybody.

Exercise has been proven to work in keeping a body in good shape. Exercise helps them to live a long productive life. As we grow older, the bodily functions decline. If a person fails to stay active in their lifetime, the aging process speeds up full force ahead. If you work out when you are young, you will feel good for a long time to come.

Exercise should include cardiovascular workouts. Aerobics is a great workout that helps you to work the heart. The workout will increase your heart rate as well as pump your blood so that it flows smoothly to the heart. You will also need to build strength to prevent injured joints. You may enjoy weightlifting to achieve a resistance workout.

Studies have shown that those working out with weights can live a long and productive life. Experts conducted a study while dividing three clusters of men, which one group had a higher resistance since they lifted weights. The second group failed, as did the third grouping of men, since these people had little activities going in their life. The cluster of men where asked to walk a great distances and at a particular length. During the study experts found that those who worked out had lower cholesterol levels. Those who did not workout had a higher level of cholesterol. According to the experts and study results resistance workout can enforce freedom of blood flow and increasing improvement of overall strength.

Weightlifting has proven to boost metabolism, which gives person energy. In addition, the workouts will strengthen the muscles and provide you with the will to carry on through life while enjoying endurance. Those who fail to workout should be alert that the density of bones decrease. Once the bones density decreases the blood will slowly channel to the heart, which puts you at risk of heart disease.

Weightlifting has proven to decline the risks of high cholesterol. In addition, working out will slow the aging process. When weightlifting however, one should go at their own pace. It is unwise to lift more weights that you can handle. If you are working toward resistance, keep the weights low and the repetitions up. Repetitions on low-density weight scales will suffice, unless you plan to become the next bodybuilder. When working out you should have someone with you in the event the weights are too strong. Having support at your side will protect you from injuries.

Dieting to live a healthy aging life:
When aging begins in our youth, we start to lose fibers, vitamins, and other nutrients. In addition, the dying cells increase while the living cells decrease. For these reason you, want to add supplements or vitamins to your daily diet. A person should incorporate at least 30 grams of healthy fibers in their diet daily. Fiber will help reduce risks, such as heart disease.

Changing your diet now can help you stay on schedule as you age. Some people find it difficult to change their diet, since they are use to fast foods, or unstable meal plans. You want to set a scheduled diet, eating three healthy meals daily.

You will notice improvement by making your diet a goal, plan, and scheduled duty.
We need to make many changes as we are aging to live a longer lifespan. When setting your diet consider grains, fibers, proteins, and so on. Eat plenty of veggies and fruits whenever feasible. Veggies and fruits are known to reduce the risks of diabetes, high cholesterol, heart disease and even cancer. Fibers will assist in keeping your cholesterol and sugar level in accord with its natural intention.

There is a saying that there are more than one ways to skin a cat. If we think a bit further, we can see how true this statement is: all problems have more than one solution, from getting rid of a baby bad breath up to finding happiness in life. It is up to us to find the most suitable one and to apply it.

Instead of panicking, you’d better start thinking and evaluating the chances that your problem gets solved in the most acceptable way, both for you and for others. Try to put your problem in simple words, identify all the involved persons and their contribution to creating the problem. Then try to figure out their ability to solve it.

You have to be patient and to think with your won head: there’s nothing to lead to the end of the world, so you have to find that way of getting through your problem without harming anybody. And without harming yourself.

Do you know how much it helps to get a look at your problem from a distance? This is the hardest part, but if you manage to see your problems as belonging to somebody else, they are almost solved. It is hard, but it is definitely worth trying.

Just think that tomorrow is another day, and rely on Murphy’s laws. There is always an escape, although you may not find it so easily.

Do you know what creativity is? There are many possible definitions. One of the most common is doing things differently from other people and getting better results.

You’d say it is all about results. In a degree, it actually is. People don’t care about process, they do care about results. Almost everybody can become creative. Creativity is a process that can be learned, but you need to have the desire and the discipline to do it.

Only think of brainstorming: when was the last time you did it? Never? Well, why don’t you start now and make a list of crazy things you’d like to do bu you don’t dare? What would you do if you weren’t afraid?

Play this game for a while and you’ll notice your creativity developing and reaching limits you’ve only dreamed of. Or try to see if you have skills that you didn’t even know about such as photography or other kind of artistic skills.

Creativity can be learned exactly just like bicycle riding can be learned. And once acquired, it will never be forgotten.

What makes people leaders? Why do we feel the need to follow some persons? Do they have something specific, something that we don’t , or is it just a fortune game?

Daniel Goleman defines six types of leaders: visionary, coaching, affiliative, democratic, pace setting, and commanding. If we think at this, we realize that leadership has something to do with born affinities, but is also a process that can be learned.

The style you cannot learn. The style is in yourself, it is in your genes. What you can learn are the methods. Personal leadership can be achieved with a certain degree of work. If you don’t believe it, just read Steven Covey’s book entitled 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, which will give you good insights on how you can achieve personal leadership.

In order to be a leader, you need to have the desire of helping other people. You need to have a strong wish to improve things around you. Like a dog agility training, your leadership skills can be trained and improved with exercise. Or maybe you just need to have the guts to tell the truth when you see it. Many people would follow.
