In a word, “No.”
Especially since you are growing these plants in an indoor container, then you really shouldn’t have anything crawling around in the soil. What they are exactly – I can tell you.
If you have a county extension service near you, and you want to know what exactly these crawly things are, and possibly how you got them, I suggest you give them a call. If you take the container to a plant nursery – be sure to place it in a sealed container. They will not say ‘thank you’ if you bring in this mystery in a way that could cause contamination of their plant stocks.
There were probably eggs in the starter mix and they hatched out when you watered.
1. Keep them AWAY from your other plants.
2. Try to return the whole MESS to the place you bought it.
This should NOT happen.

P.S. The worms will become flies that will infest everything!!!
