When you look for a Christian matchmaker, you need to think first why do you need especially a Christian one? Is it that this is your religion, and you hope to meet somebody who shares it, so you can celebrate all important religious events of the year together?
Or is it perhaps that you have an active life from religion point of view, you go to pilgrimages and you feast as indicated by the Christian calendar?
In the first case, you can live without a religion match, as I view family and matrimonial things. You can celebrate Easter twice, you can learn more about Hanukkah, or about spiritual learnings your partner has to offer. You can celebrate diversity and raise your children without hatred or fear.
In the second case, your religious habits would disturb your family life in a big degree, if your spouse doesn’t share the same passion. If only one of you feasts, you’ll have to prepare different kind of foods for each of you, you’ll eat separately, and the cost of your daily life will increase, due to double amount of shopping for food. Not to mention that you’d frequent different churches, and you’d probably get in trouble when it comes to decide in which religion are you going to get married, if your matchmaking comes to that stage. So, if you are a convinced, practicing Christian, matchmaker services should be oriented towards this kind of relationships, so you won’t be sorry later on.
Think twice, and if you feel like it’s the case, go for a Christian matchmaker service.
